Complete the Sign Up form with your personal details, choose your service, and make your payment.
Lifemin - Single School is for a handful of specific schools where we have a relationship and have reliable visibility of the communications and newsletters coming from the school.
Lifemin - Full Service is for any parent with children at any school(s). With this service, Lifemin scans your email for all communications from your school PLUS in and out of school activities, carefully reads them and automatically updates your calendar and sets helpful reminders. You can either manually or auto-forward emails to Lifemin, or Gmail users can use our Gmail integration to set up auto-forwarding with one click.
After making payment, you'll enter your school and class details.
You will immediately receive an email confirmation with links to set up your calendars. (Check your Spam/Junk folder!) Everyone gets access to the Lifemin Reminders calendar that have seasonal updates to keep the mental load at bay. Parents who sign up for a single school will receive links for the school(s) and (class)es selected in the form.
If you are on an iPhone (or a Mac) and you use the native (Apple) calendar program, you will be prompted to subscribe to the calendar you click on, which means the calendar will be updated on an ongoing basis with new dates or any changes. You will need click on each calendar separately to subscribe to each one.
If you are on an Android or PC or don't use Apple's calendar program, you will need to manually add the calendar subscription to your calendar program; otherwise you will be prompted to download the calendar and it will NOT be updated on an ongoing basis. For Lifemin - Full Service users, once you've completed the sign up form and paid, you'll be prompted to enter:
We use these as search terms to search your inbox for those emails, and then automatically read them and enter all the important dates, to-do's, deadlines and reminders that we find.
(NOTE: If you have a child at one of the schools we serve in our Single School service, you'll be prompted to choose from a list of classes.)
If you are not a Gmail user, or would rather not give Lifemin permissions to scan your Gmail, you should forward the emails manually as you receive them, or set up auto-forwarding yourself in your email, to calendars@lifeminco.com.

For Lifemin - Full Service users, once you've completed the sign up form and paid, if you're a Gmail user with just one click, you'll be set up for Lifemin to scan your inbox for notifications from your schools and activities for automatic actioning.
As this is still in Beta testing, you will need to click on 'Advanced' to proceed with the test.
Once you've successfully subscribed and set up, Lifemin starts scanning! Your calendar will begin to be automatically updated with events, deadlines and reminders. You'll also receive email reminders to so you won't miss a thing.
As most school communications are sent at the end of week, the majority of updates and reminders are entered on Friday and Saturday, ready for Sunday morning, to get you ready for the week ahead.
Calendar updates are SEPARATE to your personal calendar - they are self-contained within a Lifemin calendar. This means you can toggle them on and off, and you can also uninstall them at any time.
You can email any additional school notices to calendars {at} lifeminco {dot} com and they will be added to your calendar.
